Data Systems Analysts, Inc. has an opening for a Cloud Operations Administrator supporting a Department of Defense Customer. This customer can be supported out of our Charlottesville, VA location, or the Ft. Belvoir area. This Position requires a TS/SCI.Job DescriptionSupport maintenance activities, including evaluation, integration, administration, testing and operations of networks and systems in a cloud based environmentIdentify and respond to issues in multiple environmentsInteract with program tenants, other support contract personnel, and government leadership in a dynamic environmentIdentify and articulate challenging issues clearly so that developer support team members can be efficiently engagedServe as liaison/facilitator between development team support and program tenants in trouble shooting and implementing corrective actionHelp maintain security posture through upgrading, updating, and patching critical systemsRequired QualificationsFive years' experience with systems administrationKnowledge of secure IT architecture and computing hardware and softwareExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include: EC2, S3, Glacier, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, VPC, RDS & EMRExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with GitLabExperience with Terraform/TerragruntStrong written and verbal communications skillsDesired QualificationsExperience with programming, scripting, or markup languages, (Java, JavaScript, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Python, Golang, C, C, C#., XML, HTML, JSON, and YAML)Required Education & CertificationBS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology field, or 10 years' experience supporting technical projectsDOD8570 IAT/IAM Level II baseline certification required (Security+ or equivalent)COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our communities, families and employees.
