This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with an expected conferral date between September 2021 and September 2022; or completed your degree within past 12 months; or 1 year relevant work experience

1 year of experience with Systems Administration in Linux/Unix (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc.)

1 year of experience with Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)

1 year of experience with Troubleshooting / Support for technical IT issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of internet fundamentals and cloud computing concepts

Knowledge of AWS core services, Command Console, or command line interface

Knowledge of compute, database and storage concepts

Knowledge of IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting tools

Knowledge of security concepts and best practices

Excellent oral and written communication skills for contact with customers via calls, chats, and email
