Configuration Management Specialist

Solutions Development Corporation is seeking to fill the

• Position: Configuration Management Specialist

• Location: Dahlgren, VA

• Position Type: Hybrid

• Clearance: Secret

• Provide technical expertise in Software Configuration Management (Aegis ACCESS, DOORS, SharePoint, and Jira) to establish and maintain all AN/SPY-6 CM repositories. These skills can be learned on the job.
• Provide weekly status briefings on CM repository readiness and program Trouble Reports. Including training engineers on how to use tools.
• Produce and maintain SOPs.
• Create and distribute reports on all data contained in CM repositories.
• Attend local control boards and attend all program-level CCBs. Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and action items, and update appropriate change control databases and trackers.
• Maintained CM records, including software licenses and delivery schedules.
• Input all change requests and supporting data into the appropriate database.
• Assist in identifying requirements, review the design and implementation of the appropriate change control database, and evaluate requirements to the maintenance of the current database.
• Coordinate the movement of materials to include preparation of documentation (transmittals) to facilitate the shipment and receipt of materials and media to support the program.
• Support classified data management including pick-up and delivery of materials from the mail room

• Retirement Plan - 25% of their annual salary deposited monthly by to a retirement plan of their choice. This begins in the first month of employment and is fully vested.

• Jury Duty & Bereavement –Any difference between compensation received for serving on jury duty (less mileage or travel reimbursement) and their regular daily earnings for a period of 3 working days.
