Contracts AdministratorJob Category: ContractsTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: NoneEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalThe Opportunity:As a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for pre-award activities such as interfacing with the Contracting Officer or Prime Contractor, negotiating NDAs and TAs, participating in proposal reviews, conducting OCI screenings, providing risk assessments, recommending mitigation approaches, and negotiating price, terms, and conditions with clients. Post-award actions involve interpreting contract terms and handling subsequent issues as well as attending client meetings, IPRs, PMRs, etc. Other duties include responding to compliance requests, and maintaining contracts-related corporate systems.Responsibilities:
Manages and administers company contracts including overseeing proposal preparation and contract negotiation, working independently within the context of management oversight/supervision and training.
Provides regular reporting to senior management on contract issues.
Provides risk assessments and recommending mitigation approaches.
Prepares and reviews and/or negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's), Teaming Agreements (TA's) and modifications to contracts to support company objectives.
Ensure compliance with CACI Contracts policies and guidelines as well as with US Government regulations.
Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree or some work towards completion of a degree, with some experience in an office environment supporting general company business processes and objectivesDesired:
Ideally 2-4 years of Federal contract administration experience (preference in the DoD space)
Attention to detail.
Willingness to pursue a security clearance.
Knowledge of and experience with standard word-processing, database, spreadsheet programs and integrated software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint among others).
Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
Ability to accept direction and feedback
Short writing sample (approx. 2 pages) demonstrating analysis of an issue is desirable.
