The groups seeking co-ops are as follows:

Nuclear Core Design (NCD)

Nuclear Safety Analysis (NSA)

These groups are located at Dominion’s Innsbrook Technical Center in Glen Allen, VA. The first at-work session begins Fall 2024, with subsequent sessions (e.g., Summer 2025, Spring 2026) contingent on candidate schedule, performance, and position.Job Responsibilities

Work with an experienced team of engineers to perform neutronic, thermal/hydraulic, transient, or containment analyses supporting Dominion Energy’s nuclear units.

Work with an experienced team of engineers to support nuclear plant operation in nominal and off-nominal plant configurations.

Work with an experienced team of engineers to modify safety analyses or nuclear core designs in support of plant design or fuel changes.

Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement activities to maintain and enhance our role in supporting safe and efficient plant operation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceAbility to effectively operate a personal and workstation computer, including standard Microsoft applications. Programming skills are desirable.Ability to define problems, collect information, evaluate data, draw valid conclusions, and develop solutions in a time-critical environment.Ability to maintain a professional orientation, communicate effectively in both written and oral forms, and work effectively in team and independently under own initiative.Education Requirements

Working toward a four-year Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a Nuclear concentration from an ABET accredited university.

Current Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in standing

GPA of 3.0 or higher
