Core Network Engineer with Cicso and Juniper to serve the Telecom Industry.TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE NEEDEDPosition type: Full TimeDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Chantilly, VAPay Range: $55 - $65/hourAs a Core Network Engineer you will:- Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers
- Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), NRO'sInternet Network, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a networksystem. Maintains network hardware and software. Monitors network to ensure network availability to allsystem users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May supervise other networksupport and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
- Oversee network control centers. Provides support to projects that involve networks. Evaluates new networktechnologies and makes recommendations to project managers regarding the integration of these technologiesinto the existing network. Plans new network configurations and integration into existing networks to maintainoptimal performance.
- Ensures that plans for hardware and communications are adequate. Develops and implements methodologiesfor analysis, installation, and support of voice communications systems. Provides support in the translation ofbusiness requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs andorders.
The ideal candidate will have:- 10 years of relevant experience that can be a combination of work history and education. Thisequates to a Doctorate and 2 years of experience, a Masters and 4 years, a Bachelors and 6 years, an Associates and 8 years, or HS and 10 years.
- Must be compliant with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
- Experience with both Cisco and Juniper routers
