Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with a leading global hospitality company who is seeking a Creative Marketing Business Analyst to join their Analytics team. This position is work from home flexible. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with analytics, business, data, and external partners
  • Document requirements for the Commercial Services Automation road map
  • Lead requirements gathering process with Analytics, Data, and other business stakeholders
  • Identify business value for prioritization and trade-off costs among user experience, timeline, and operational support load
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of big data environment and automation toolsets
  • Provide inputs to value measurement processes to ensure business goals are met

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Education: High School Degree/GED; Bachelor's Degree is a plus
  • 4 years of professional experience
  • 4 years of experience creating and analyzing business needs to translate into actionable problem statements, requirements, and success metrics
  • 2 years of experience with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts, especially in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Generation (NLG) methods and concepts
  • Expertise with BI tools (including Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAS, Qlik, etc.)
  • Travel: Ability to travel 20%
