CT Tech

Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Conducts patient education as necessary. Administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.Reports to: Director of Imaging ServicesRequired Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Venipuncture skills.Required License/Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

ARRTMinimum Work Experience

At least one year of previous experience in a Radiologic Technologist role or CT role strongly preferred.Ability to accept on-call assignments for regularly scheduled shifts when acuity and/or census indicate need. Will be available to report to facility within 45 minutes of notification. This status will be determined by the Department Director of Administrator on call.Minimum Education
