This position will require someone to work a hybrid schedule, qualified candidates must be comfortable coming onsite to Reston, VA.

Our client, a leading insurance provider is looking for 2 Customer Engagement Architects to join their team and help ensure the productivity and quality of their enterprise architecture.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Customer Engagement Architects:
  • Create, look over, approve, and continually maintain blueprints and roadmaps for enterprise architecture
  • Look for issues and opportunities that transcend business areas and propose strategies or solutions
  • Make sure of the quality of architecture patterns and reference models
  • Ensure arrangement across architecture and business domains and traceability to business and IT strategy
  • Research and look into enterprise architectures to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls
  • Ensure the arrangement and incorporation of enterprise architecture processes and deliverables with those of other architecture and SDLC disciplines
  • Lead the development of architecture communications and education material for use with business and technical stakeholders or partners
  • Represent Enterprise Architecture in the identification and evaluation of solution alternatives, including the drafting and/or review of strategic RFIs/RFPs and the evaluation of vendor proposals

Requirements of the Customer Engagement Architects:
  • At least 15 years of experience in enterprise architecture
  • Experience leading IT and/or business transformation initiatives
  • Prior experience engaging and advising executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence others so that project objectives are met in a timely manner
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop high quality solutions
  • Ability to coach peers and team members
  • Expertise with architecture frameworks, methods and tools
