Description We are looking to bring on board a Customer Service Representative in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. This role is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The position involves interacting with customers, processing their credit applications, maintaining records, and resolving any issues that arise.Responsibilities: Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls effectively and professionally. Deliver accurate and friendly customer service in a timely manner. Manage cash and other daily transactions. Achieve sales and referral goals by cross-selling and actively referring customers to appropriate personnel for additional products, services, and sales campaigns. Maintain currency and coin within prescribed limits. Adhere to the company's security policies and ensure confidentiality of company records and client information. Process complex transactions and conduct extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries. Utilize advanced Microsoft Office skills and navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and search tools to find information. Actively solve problems by listening for customer cues and resolving issues with grace and integrity. Use various computer programs, CRM, customer service software, 'About Time', 'Answer', 'Answering Inbound Calls', 'Assist Customers', and 'Benefit Functions' to accomplish tasks. Requirements Proficiency in various computer programs relevant to customer service Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems Familiarity with customer service software Knowledge of 'About Time' software Ability to effectively answer and handle inbound calls Proven track record of assisting customers and resolving queries Understanding of benefit functions and ability to explain them to customers Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent organizational and multitasking skills High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in related fields are a plus.
