At GDIT, people are our differentiator, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is safer. As a Cyber Security Analyst Senior, your job will be to:

Triage security events alerted to the Security Operations Center (SOC) team via the Security Information and Event Management (SEIM) tool.

Work closely with cyber security analyst team members in support of SOC activities. Help mentor team members on all aspects of cyber security.

Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on or more SOC security products.

Collaborate with various teams across the business to achieve security goals. Lead these team efforts as required.

Support other day-to-day tasks that fall under the Security Operations Center team

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Training or certifications in the cyber security field.

5+ years experience in cyber security.

3+ years experience investigating security events within a SOC (security operations center) environment.

2+ years experience managing EPPEDR security products to proactively improve security.

Advanced understanding of Azure cloud security.

Detailed knowledge of computers and Windows operating system.

Strong interpersonal, communication, influence and customer relationship skills

Self-starter with excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
