Job Description Summary
The candidate will provide subject matter expertise to the Chief Data Officer (CDO) Directorate and support to senior level leadership within the Office of the Deputy Chief Information Officer, Special Access Programs Information Technology (DCIO SAP IT). Candidate must be able to provide strategic advice, counsel, and sound recommendations to support and defend policy decisions, synchronize investments, and drive actionable outcomes.Create, define, and evolve the "as-is" and "to-be" data architecture for the DoD SAP IT data services. Provide a framework to determine how to grow new data assets and evaluate existing data assets. Also, provide data architecture services and perform data architecture reviews, ensuring compliance of design and meta-data standards. Will also support identifying improvements to processes and workflows, related to physical and logical data protection by:• Collaborating with Information Security, Network Security, and compliance teams to validate that Data security design, processes and procedures align with broader agency policies, standards and requirements• Leading work investigating complex technical matters on a global scale spanning multiple disciplines such as storage technologies, network security, identity management, data destruction methodologies, and workflow integration• Achieving CDO's data security operational objectives• Utilizing data security best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance.• Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to improve services and ensure service levels are achieved.Required Skills:• 5+ years experience in support of special access program (SAP)• 10+ years experience working in support of DoD programs • 3+ years of supporting policy development and requirements generation• 5+ years DoD Information Technology Experience• Must have top secret clearance with SCI access TS/SCI• Bachelor's degreeDesired Skills:• Experience working with Special Access Programs.• Experience working at the OSD, Joint Staff or Service Staff level.• ML, AI, Python and R exposure• Data Ontologies experience Strong writing and communication skills to collaborate with senior Government and/ Military personnel.• Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills om order to operate within the DoD environment• Possess interpersonal skills and experience supporting decision making for senior DOD leadership• Experience with JCIDS and PPBE processes• Master's degree• Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, including ability to pivot and respond to and integrate information from various sources.• Ability to absorb and synthesize information from various outlets and develop effective products for senior DoD leadership. • Extensive experience using AWS services• Proficient in Structured, semi-structured and structured data sets• Expertise in Data modeling, Data Warehousing, AI/ML/NLP, data profiling• Mastery, knowledge of, & skill in applying new data technologies, data management processes, system analysis principles and techniques and process engineering concepts sufficient to recommend the most beneficial implementation approaches, assess the impact of new data management and IT policies and lead implementation activities.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to master other computer applications quickly.• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic work environment and ability to coordinate and perform multiple assignments.#techjobs #clearance #SAPCIO Job Summary This job is reserved for TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) only.
