Technical Solution, is seeking a Database Administrator with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL - (On-Site, Warrenton, VA). Database AdministratorWarrenton, VA (ONSITE)6 Month Contract to Hire Description:This position is on-site in Warrenton, VAResponsibilities:- Serve as SME on FAA databases to support:
- All production database environments as a primary or backup DBA
- Application/Database related problems and deployments
- Response to customer/stakeholder inquires
- Provide data requests as needed using SQL Query Tools like SqlDeveloper and PGAdmin.
- Maintaining production databases, which includes:
- Databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Monitoring database efficiency
- Ensuring space availability
- Backup and Recovery
- Database builds and refreshes
- Data updates
- Monthly data loads
- Sustaining the security and integrity of data
- Supporting application deployments
- Supporting on-call rotation
- Documentation
- Bachelor’s degree, or substitute eight years of equivalent work experience.
- At least eight years of database administration experience.
- Experience using SQL Query Tools, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, etc.
