DBA IIReston, VA TS/SCI w/ poly Job DescriptionMaintaining environments by monitoring database performance, performing patches and upgrades to our dev databases, Assist with traditional database administration tasks (build databases, patch databases, backups, recovery/restore procedures, Oracle database software installation and patching, etc.). Also mentors less experienced DBAs. Unix, Oracle, SQLPlus and Designer skills desired. Detail oriented, ability to learn quickly and process minded. Good verbal and written communication. Experience with some of the following is helpful; Java, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Tools, DB2, Application Servers (OAS, WebSphere), See Beyond, PLSQL, ProC, Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools, Designer.
