Our Alexandria, VA client is seeking a deskside support technician for a 100% onsite role. This role requires excellent customer service skills coupled with a troubleshooting mentality and level II experience. This role may require travel between facilities on a daily basis. This is a long term, contract opportunity. location: Alexandria, Virginiajob type: Contractsalary: $31.00 - 31.50 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:These should be onsite staff, especially to assist with the phased transition of City staff back in to the office. This would include deployments, software installs, office setups/moves, and troubleshooting. The III position will assist with higher level projects as they come up. The Support Engineer III candidates should have at least 2 years Help Desk experience, college graduate preferred. Able to lead IT projects impacting user/computer configurations MS Office and Operating System Support Imaging and Computer Deployment Remote Access Assistance Computer Reconfigurations Due to Office Changes Software Installations Help Desk ticket and phone call support Project rollouts - OneDrive, Fleet Services Faster Upgrade, Finance computer deployments (if needed), Munis upgrade, Kronos upgrade, APEX upgrade Technical Skillset - Active Directory, a device management tools such as SCCM, Anti-Virus software, MS Office suite including Teams, Two Factor Authentication qualifications:- Experience level: Experienced
