ASRC Federal Data Solutions is seeking a

Software Developer with strong

C#/.NET skills to support the Naval Circuit Management Office (NCMO) in our Suffolk, VA location.

This is a

hybrid remote position, must be able to work on-site at our Suffolk, VA location. A great opportunity for a cleared (Secret)

C#/.NET Developer to work with other technologies (MVC architecture, NHibernate, SQL and others) and develop skill sets in Cybersecurity such as RMF and the Assessment and Accreditation process. The chosen candidate will be a member of a small team that interfaces with the customer to gather requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively investigating and developing new software tools and techniques in performing and automating Navy telecommunications management, to include inventory, financial dashboards, transition management and automation, and review and revalidation (R&R).
  • Develop in programming languages to include C#/.NET, JavaScript, jQuery as well as AJAX and Bootstrap
  • Assist in accreditation of Navy applications under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and server and application hardening.
  • Utilize strong logic, design, and development skills with an understanding of low-level OS and system operations.
  • Support the Navy's transition to IPv6 by developing module to manage address allocation

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Active Secret security clearance (or higher)
  • Current Security+ CE certification
  • Bachelors of Science degree or higher in Information Technology (such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cloud Computing, Software Development) or additional 4 years' experience in related field
  • Five (3) or more years of experience as a software developer
  • Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database technologies
  • Publishing and deploying web applications to an IIS web server
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and training a team

Desired Skills/Experience
  • Experience working with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture a plus
  • Experience with AJAX and Bootstrap a plus
  • Experience with NHibernate or Entity Framework Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) technology a plus
  • Experience in developing applications for the Navy or Department of Defense
  • Experience with IPv6 allocation/management
