SummaryThe HII-Mission Technologies CTO office is currently seeking a Director of AI applications development to support a broad range of AI and Data Science applications across the enterprise. The ideal candidate can lead a team of data scientists and developers to create viable system prototypes and mission support capabilities across a wide range of defense market segments. The AI applications director will define, develop, and qualify prototypical AI powered analytics across both external DoD/IC clients, internal shipbuilding, and autonomous systems in support of HII business groups. Familiarity with C5ISR, cyber, electronic warfare, modeling/simulation, LVC training, autonomous systems, logistics/sustainment, and shipbuilding markets is desired. - Support planning of AI application projects to external customer missions, autonomous system developments, and internal shipbuilding enterprise operations.
- Lead organizational efforts in vetting AI and Data analytics technologies for utilization in HII solutions.
- Coordinate and maintain a portfolio of expertise with subject experts to lead the market in AI application concepts
- 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant progressive experience.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of simultaneous technology projects
- Direct experience in applying AI technology to DoD mission applications
- 10 years of relevant experience in developing complex system solutions and data analytics
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS clearance with TS-SCI eligibility
- Broad program management experience with IRAD and CRAD projects
- Experience in government customer facing solution development
- Large scale proposal development
