Summary

The HII-Mission Technologies CTO office is currently seeking a market making, customer facing, Director of AI solution engineering to support a broad range of AI and Data Science applications across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will investigate client needs, develop wholistic solutions, and transition those solutions into proposals and contracts with our business groups. The ideal candidate can form and lead agile teams of operational experts, data scientists, and developers to create disruptive mission solutions using AI and Big Data. Ideal candidates will have a wide range of market experiences and familiarly with applying numerous types of machine learning and deep learning to include NLP/NLG, vision, data discovery, and AGI. Familiarity with DoD and US Government markets is desired. A robust understanding of data science and data architectures is also required.

What you will do

  • Discover customer problem sets which are candidates for AI enabled performance gains
  • Develop and advance a pipeline of DoD AI application project concepts which support the strategic business plans of HII business groups
  • Form and lead teams of marketing, development, and operational experts to develop new AI powered mission capabilities for known customer problem sets
  • Support organizational efforts in vetting new AI and Data analytics technologies for HII solutions.
  • Serve as a market facing thought leader and communicator of HII AI powered solutions

What you must have

  • 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in engineering, science, computer science, mathematics or related field; 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Experience in leading customers and developing solutions which employ AI and big data
  • Direct experience in applying AI technology concepts to DoD, or US Government, applications
  • Business case development competency
  • 10 years of relevant experience in developing large scale complex data analytics projects
  • Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred: Bonus Points For

  • Program management experience with data analytics development projects
  • Experience in US Government data infrastructures and policies
  • Large scale proposal development experience
