Client needs someone to own and manage the company’s manufacturing operations and make sure products are built efficiently, on time, at the right quality and cost.What you will do:Manage Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.Make sure production can meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.Improve production speed, quality, costs, inventory, and on-time delivery.Manage suppliers and improve the supply chain.Work with engineering to make new products easier and more efficient to manufacture.Maintain ISO 9001 quality standards. ISO/IEC 17025 experience is a plus.Track operational KPIs, budgets, and manufacturing costs.Help implement a new ERP system and improve manufacturing processes.Hire, develop, and lead strong teams.Work closely with both executive leadership and the production floor.What they are looking for:10+ years of manufacturing operations experience.5+ years in a senior leadership/management role.Experience with low-volume, high-mix manufacturing of complex products.Experience with products such as:Scientific/analytical instrumentsOptics/photonicsMedical devicesTest & measurement equipmentComplex electro-mechanical productsStrong experience in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing engineering.ISO 9001 experience is required.Experience with Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement and ERP systems.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.Must be a hands-on leader who is comfortable working with both executives and production teams.
