The Landmark AOS Program directly supports the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining ground systems that enable the NRO's space-based capabilities. SAIC's expertise and advanced technologies ensure that the NRO's assets operate at maximum capacity and efficiency.Through SkillBridge, SAIC provides candidates with a unique opportunity to participate in a diverse set of job categories within the Landmark AOS program, providing valuable insight into military and civilian collaboration on National Security objectives. This role will also develop skills and gain a deeper understanding of the Systems Engineer Technical Assistance (SETA) work that is crucial to the success of the NRO.By engaging in this internship training, SAIC aims to facilitate a seamless career transition for the military personnel, ensuring their success in the shift from military to civilian work. The program offers a valuable opportunity for participants to acquire essential business and technical skills while adapting to the dynamic and evolving business landscape. Through comprehensive training, candidates will be equipped with the necessary tools and qualifications to excel in their chosen role, fulfill job placement requirements, and make a substantial impact in the industry.SkillBridge Program SETA Intern, your duties may include:

Assisting with requirements analysis: You may be involved in assessing the technical requirements of various projects. This would include collaborating with engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and accurate understanding of project needs.

Supporting program management: You may assist the program manager by maintaining project schedules, tracking deliverables, and facilitating communication among the various teams involved.

Conducting research and analysis: Your responsibilities might include researching new technologies and industry best practices. This could involve reviewing technical documents, conducting literature reviews, and summarizing your findings for the team.

Assisting with technical evaluations: You may be involved in conducting technical reviews, and providing recommendations regarding technologies that best meet the mission needs. This could encompass assessing the technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and potential risks of various options.

Participating in meetings and briefings: You may have the opportunity to attend meetings, workshops, and briefings related to projects. This would allow you to gain insights into strategic planning, decision-making processes, and interagency collaborations.

Supporting documentation and reporting: Your duties might also involve creating and maintaining technical documentation, preparing reports, and contributing to presentations. This would ensure accurate record-keeping and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

Assisting with quality control and assurance: You could be involved in reviewing technical specifications, test plans, and other project-related documents to ensure adherence to established quality standards and best practices.

Participating in team collaboration: As an intern, you may work closely with senior SETA professionals and other team members. This would provide you with an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to team discussions, and collaborate on various tasks and projects.

QualificationsSkillBridge, Education, and Clearance Requirements:

High School and four (4) or more years of college coursework in a technical/non-technical field.

Current and Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance.
