Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving box trucks, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your commitment to safety and customer satisfaction will be essential in ensuring a smooth moving process.

Duties

Safely operate box trucks or vans to transport items to designated locations.

Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are secured for transport.

Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Provide excellent customer service during all interactions, addressing any concerns or questions.

Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a mover or delivery driver is preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. (CDL is preferred but not required.)

Must be able to pass a drug screen

Familiarity with operating box trucks.

Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor throughout the workday.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

This is a 1099 position paying $200 per day. We are specifically looking for someone who can both drive the truck and work the moving job. Please do not apply if you are only looking for a mover position — this role requires driving a 26ft straight truck. A CDL is not required. Applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test. The pay reflects the added responsibility of safely operating the truck in addition to performing moving labor.
