Akkodis is seeking an

eCommerce Senior Sales Specialist for one of our top clients who is a multinational leader in automotive manufacturing! This is a

HYBRID role in

Herndon, VA, so applicants will need to be local to the area. This role is responsible for the strategy curation, business plan implementation, and sales cultivation of Parts, Accessories and Gear sold via eCommerce channels. Strategy will be defined, developed, and refined by leading a cross-functional team to identify the best go-to-market option(s) and leverage industry best practices. The implementation and cultivation of eCommerce sales activities will be achieved by working with key dealers, corporate and regional management, and third-party vendors.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage eCommerce sales operations to continually grow the channels and support the achievement of financial targets (90%)

o Identify, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for programs, processes, and dealer activity

o Provide support and direction to dealers and regional staff regarding the development and improvement of dealers eCommerce business

o Develop and launch sales promotions and incentives to grow dealer eCommerce sales and increase consumer engagement

o Establish annual marketing calendar and coordinate and execute timely marketing campaigns in coordination with all media types, working with After Sales Marketing

o Manage the creation and maintenance of lists of dealer user names and storefronts for trademark enforcement and other purposes

o Establish processes to manage the listing of content on eCommerce sales platforms and retail store fronts

o Monitor compliance of authorized dealerships who sell online to standardized procedures and best practices and create new policies and processes as needed

o Source and maintain data inputs to support the eCommerce channel, including cataloging, inventory, hazmat, and Prop65 information as well as kitting or maintenance packages

o Ratify Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other required contractual agreements for all eCommerce sales channels

• Establish and launch eCommerce sales strategy (10%)

o Direct all vendor research and go-to-market execution partners (internal and third-party)

o Set and communicate dealer standards for internally tracking eCommerce sales, listing products for sale, and monitoring established KPIs

o Develop and execute communication plans to relevant stakeholders

o Maintain industry awareness and serve as the expert for all topics related to eCommerce

o Serve as a brand advocate for eCommerce channels internally as well as with industry partners and at industry events

Required Skills/Experience:

• 10+ years of experience of eCommerce business leadership with a proven track record for sales growth

• 5+ years of experience of automotive aftermarket parts

• Understanding of US automotive aftermarket and eCommerce Channels

• Ability to start and grow eCommerce businesses

• Ability to track sales and determine wholesale automotive parts sales opportunities

• Automotive dealer and/or field experience

• Commercial / sales acumen

• Project management

• Understanding of US automotive aftermarket

• Digital marketing (SEM, SEO) experience

• Online marketplace experience

• Online Retail Storefront experience

• Expert in MS Office applications

• Successfully demonstrated experience with launching online businesses and start-ups

• Knowledge of Aftermarket or OEM parts sales and supply environment

• Parts, accessory, or service marketing experience

• Knowledgeable of Dealer DMS systems applications (ADP/R&R)

• Experience of wholesale automotive parts sales

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or similar discipline required

Work Flexibility:

• Must be willing to travel up to 20% domestically
