DescriptionTradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Electric Motor Winders for projects located in and around Chesapeake, VA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $25/hour based on experience & skill level. Rewind 3 phase form coil & random wound stators

Rewind DC armatures & fields

Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Knowledge of Rewinding 3 Phase Form Coil & Random Wound Stators

Knowledge of Rewinding DC Armatures & Fields

Familiarity with Electrical Test Equipment; surge tester, low resistance bridge, multimeter, megohmmeter, ampmeter, voltmeter

Familiarity with Electrical Tests; surge test, hipot test, checking polarity & resistance on windings, taking megger readings

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Hand Tools

Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills

Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs

Drug Screen & Background Check

Ability to work OT as needed
