Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are a custom engineering firm specializing in the design and construction of factory automation systems for small parts assembly, material handling, robotics, packaging, and web converting systems. We seek an Assembler with a strong electrical aptitude and a keen eye for detail to join our dynamic team.Responsibilities

Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and enclosure/panel fabrication drawings to determine the best assembly method for control panels and/or electrical equipment assemblies.

Field wire electrical enclosures and various electrical/electronic components to our automated industrial equipment.

Perform all assigned tasks based on the allotted time scheduled for the project and within acceptable standards of quality.

Essential Skills

Solid electrical aptitude that enables the use of sound judgment and proper electrical controls wiring techniques.

Working knowledge of shop practices.

Ability to sit, stand, and tolerate repetitive movement and distracting noise levels.

Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong work ethic, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work alone and interact effectively with teammates.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with assembly, hand tools, blueprints, mechanical assembly, power tools, schematics, tape measures, assembly lines, hand and power tools, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, assembling, packaging, inspection, electronic assembly, quality control, and building mechanical assemblies.

1 year of experience in an electrical/controls type of role working on movable components.
