Position Description: This role is for a top-level position on the Surry team. Includes senior to technical expert engineers, able to perform difficult and complex work requiring thorough knowledge of the subject matter and significant experience within functional assignment area.
Incumbents are expected to provide technical expertise and/or team leadership and mentoring as needed. May be required to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to major projects that have significant impact on programs in varied areas and related fields. May serve as a technical expert on engineering related legal and regulatory issues to outside entities.The desired candidate should have:• Minimum of 15 years of Nuclear Design Engineering Electrical/I&C engineering experience.• Previously qualified or ability to qualify in the Standard Design and 10CFR50.59 Processes• An ABET accredited electrical engineering degree.• Knowledge of engineering theories and principles.• In depth knowledge of codes, regulations and practices.• Equally effective working independently or in team environment.• Proven decision-making skills.• Ability to process information quickly and effectively manages multiple tasks.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience and knowledge of the National Electric Code• Willing to get into the field and perform walkdowns, project management activities and support of testing and troubleshooting of plant modifications.• Knowledge of various computer applications, with the ability to manipulate personal computer applications and perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g. Matlab, Excel, ETAP, etc.)• Design Experience of Electrical Power Distribution, Electrical System Protection, Electrical Industrial Control Systems for Power Stations or other larger Industrial Facilities• Familiarity with Industrial Electrical and Mechanical systems and components such as HVAC, Pumps, Piping, Motors, Generators, Breakers, Fire Protection, Cables, Electrical System Protection, Motor Starters, Control Devices, and HMI.• An understanding of Engineering Specifications (Procurement, Design, Installation, etc.)• PWR Experience is preferred.• PE, FE, SRO or STA certifications a plus Sincerely Yours,Arun Arun Kumar,Capricorn Systems, Inc.Lead Talent Acquisition SpecialistTel:  Ex: 3216Cell:amp;nbsp; ;/a>
