AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering V to be based in Arlington, VA.Job Responsibilities:Plan, schedule, or conduct detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.Perform power design calculations, lighting design, and lighting calculations using AGI software.Attend site surveys.Review request for information for construction support.Meet schedule and budget constraints per project demands.Provide schedule input for design tasks and preparation of task budgets.Develop and review designs and construction drawings.Identify construction costs trending out of budget.Manage the preparation of milestone submittals.Review contractor submittals and support the installation of traction power systems components and software.Work with OCS engineers to coordinate work on all projects.Participate in project working meetings and manage meeting minute tasks.Produce construction specifications.Develop cost estimates and projections.Perform Electrical/Traction Power design and construction of engineering projects.Provide specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.Approve and sign off on work.Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.Present complex technical solutions to clients.Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.Participate in development of technical proposals.Provide estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.May telecommute.
