Our talented team is at the forefront in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. You will support a cutting-edge Cyber Program, providing IT user support, IT security, IT services, and developer support for mobile device analysis, collection, and exploitation engineering services to the Federal Agency. This Key Personnel opportunity is in anticipation of an upcoming contract award!What you’ll be doing:
Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of both test systems and equipment.
Work with minimal supervision to provide support in both the operation of test systems and the maintenance of hardware/software integrations.
Independently set up and configure both hardware and software-based test systems such as Linux based computers.
Perform more advanced calibrations and software installations.
Diagnose and resolve common issues in test systems, both hardware and software-related. Assist engineers in optimizing test systems, including troubleshooting and modifying configurations for better performance.
Maintain detailed records of all test activities, including configuration changes and troubleshooting steps.
Report on test results and provide suggestions for improving system performance.
Perform preventative maintenance on electronic test equipment. Conduct and oversee testing of hardware systems to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain inventory of hardware items and control distribution of items to team. Act as primary point of contact for ordering new equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to improve test processes and support development projects.
What does Leidos need from me?
Current Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligibility, and able to pass a Polygraph and an FBI full scope field background investigation.
Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Two to five years of hands-on experience with test systems, including hardware setup, software configuration, and troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) electronics and equipment.
Basic programming skills, specifically in Bash and Python. Ability to configure and operate Linux software-controlled test systems.
