Overview: The position is responsible for the receipt, installation, and remediation of new end-user devices such as MS Teams Telephones and other ancillary equipment to support an enterprise-wide deployment of Microsoft Teams Voice. Duties include:
- Perform pre-deployment on-site surveys of Client facilities documenting inventory and location information for current voice related equipment, including but not limited to telephone handsets, fax machines, credit card machines, paging systems, etc.
- Receive, unbox, assemble, transport, and deploy new MS Teams handsets, headsets, and other project related hardware.
- Add all new equipment to the County's asset inventory systems.
- Follow a defined user acceptance testing (UAT) test plan and document results from testing of new MS Teams handsets and any other ancillary devices.
- Provide basic post-installation end-user support as required.
- Remove and decommission existing legacy voice equipment while following the operating procedures for asset deployment and asset disposition.
- Participate in project meetings with implementation team, technical team, end users, management, and other key stakeholders.
- Must have at least five (5) years of related work experience
- College degree or relevant certifications preferred.
