Job DescriptionHII is seeking qualified candidates to contribute to a hardware engineering effort involving microelectronics solutions. This effort includes direct functional evaluation of hardware as well as contributing to the investigation, research, development, design, and functional testing of new electrical engineering hardware solutions. Many innovative solutions applying to DoD and IC mission critical problems will be researched, developed, and deployed.Essential Job Responsibilities- The candidate will need extensive knowledge in electrical hardware design and verification experience as a basis.
- Ideally the candidate will also have experience in hardware reverse engineering, designing power systems (both high and low voltage), digital and analog system design, and extensive hardware system design and debug expertise.
- Experience with PCB design, embedded system design, various EDA tools (schematics, PCB-layout, spice simulation, etc.), bench-top debug, device physics, and failure analysis is a plus.

- BS or greater in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 15+ years of experience in electrical hardware design and verification
- Competency with electrical hardware debugging
- Familiarity with industry standard EDA tools (schematics, PCB-layout, spice simulation, etc.)
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
