HII Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Engineer Systems 2 candidate eager to join and support contracts for the Engineering Service Department!

What You Will Do

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

What You Must Have

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Supervisory/Management experience
  • Strength in Office/Excel/Configuration management
  • Experience in AutoCAD
  • Ability to multi task in fast paced environment

  • Ability to read technical drawings and complex technical specifications

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
