Opportunity awaits!Job Purpose: This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, such as conducting on-aircraft damage assessments, liaising with OEM engineering teams, and partnering with FAA DERs to collect repair data.The position is intended to bolster support for upcoming maintenance on the 737 and Gulfstream G-IV aircraft arriving this fall. We aim to onboard someone by October 1st to facilitate orientation, setup, and preparations well ahead of the November 1st arrival of the 737.Duties:

Perform on-aircraft assessments of damage, make required measurements and analysis, prepare damage reports for processing.

Collaborate closely with aircraft maintenance and quality control personnel, and design proposed repairs.

Interface with OEM engineering departments and FAA DER’s to obtain repair technical data and repair dispositions in a timely fashion.

Adhere to FAA, customer, and company regulations throughout the project

Effectively communicate with co-workers and customers to ensure a quality product is delivered

Skills/Qualifications:

BSME, BSAE, BS Engineering strongly preferred; or at least 3 years experience actively performing mechanical/aerospace design

Experience in a related field; Mechanical Design Engineering and Aerospace experience preferred

At least 3 years experience with maintaining Boeing airframes and/or Gulfstream airframes strongly preferred.

Solidworks 3D experience

Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance

Knowledge of FAA guidelines

Ability to work in a team environment

Excellent customer service and communication skills
