Job Summary This role is responsible for specifying technical and quality procurement requirements to support operation of Offshore Wind Vessels. This role provides vessel materials and inventory management, bill of materials creation, and service contractor support. This is a diverse position that is intended to blend technical/analytical skills, procurement strategies, negotiates prices, delivery, performance, issue resolution, escalation, terms and conditions, and intellectual property agreements. Develops and administers measurement tools on contract basis. May lead to cross-functional sourcing initiatives, including the development and implementation of complex sourcing strategies.

The primary duties and responsibilities include: • Subject Matter Expert in procurement processes to ensure that the vessel has the critical spare parts necessary to ensure sustained at-sea operations • Perform procurement engineering support activities including evaluation, research, and analysis of procurement requirements of materials and services • This may include analyzing and evaluating systems, equipment, process improvements, and programs for assurance that they are modified, operated, and maintained in accordance with Company policy and procedure and regulatory requirements • Able to handle the most complex work and all aspects of the job using wide knowledge of the field and mastery (advanced knowledge, skill and/or abilities that provides subject matter authority and superior command in a particular job) of the subject matter may provide input in setting objectives and policy, identifying critical issues and introducing new concepts makes decisions independently • Provides assistance, advice, and solutions to peers, customers, and co-workers • Identifies and implements better work alternatives and business processes • Must possess good project management skills • Solid understanding of Inventory Optimization techniques and inventory management • This individual will back-up the Contract Specialist in their absence • Must be available to travel domestically and internationally as required for application of duties ( • Perform other duties as requested or assigned. Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6 plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined (above / below).

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and education required for entry into this job include the following: • 5 + years related experience. • Working knowledge of industry codes and standards and government regulations • Working knowledge of procurement practices, procedures, and policies • Working knowledge of accounting principles • Working knowledge of contracts • Preferred knowledge of SAP • Operational knowledge of supplier relations, priority management, and tactical planning • Preferred knowledge/experience of vessel systems/equipment or power station systems

Education Requirements Education: (Minimum Requirements) • 4-year Engineering Technology degree or 4-year degree in Engineering (not ABET-accredited); or • 4-year degree in Physics, Math, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Engineering or other technical related discipline; or • 4-year non-technical degree and post-graduate degree in Engineering Technology or Engineering (not ABET-accredited); or • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred degree
