  • Lead Enterprise initiatives to transform Client Enterprise Architecture based on current Enterprise Target State and Enterprise Assessment Roadmaps.
  • Lead Enterprise Roadmap development and enterprise planning.
  • Develop RFI / RFP to mobilize projects defined in the Enterprise Roadmaps. Evaluate vendor responses and proposals, coordinating with procurement and key stakeholders.
  • Lead / coordinate stakeholder communication / engagement efforts related to the Enterprise Assessment, with support from Business Change Management.
Essential Functions:
  • Architecture Development: Develop, review, approve, and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints and roadmaps. Analyze pain points and opportunities that transcend business areas and propose enterprise strategies or solutions. Ensure the quality of reusable architecture patterns and reference models. Ensure alignment across architecture and business domains and traceability to business and IT strategy.
  • Architecture Consulting: Provide guidance to enterprise, domain and solution architects to ensure that solution architectures align with IT strategies and enterprise blueprints, standards, and guidelines. Research and analyze enterprise architectures (including business, enterprise information environment, intelligence processes, and IT) to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls.
  • Strategy Development: Provide thought leadership in the development and execution of enterprise and domain-specific IT strategies, standards, and guidelines. Engage in business strategy development to identify new business capability and technology-driven opportunities and ensure alignment and prioritization of IT strategy. Define business and operating models to exploit new opportunities and realize strategic goals and objectives.
  • Architecture Governance: Represent Enterprise Architecture and provide thought leadership in solution architecture peer reviews and architecture governance forums. Ensure that IT portfolio decisions provide business value and optimize total cost of ownership.
  • Architecture Practice Development: Support the development, tailoring, and enhancement of enterprise architecture frameworks, methods, and tools. Ensure the alignment and integration of enterprise architecture processes and deliverables with those of other architecture and SDLC disciplines. Lead the development of enterprise architecture communications and education materiel for use with business and technical stakeholders or partners.
  • Solution Assessment: Represent Enterprise Architecture in the identification and evaluation of solution alternatives, including the drafting and/or review of strategic RFIs/RFPs and the evaluation of vendor proposals.
  • Planning and Operations: Assess projects for architecture impacts in support of annual planning, resource estimation, and alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture. Provide regular reporting on progress, issues, and opportunities related to enterprise architecture.

Other Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or related discipline is required.
  • Experience leading IT and/or business transformation initiatives is required.
  • Experience engaging and advising executive-level stakeholders is required.
  • TOGAF certification (or similar) is preferred.
  • Experience using architecture modeling tools (Orbus iServer or similar) is preferred.
