Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking an IT Program Manager (ITPM). The selected candidate will be allowed to perform the role as a virtual telecommuter

The ITPM oversees multiple programs and projects in support of the sector's shared enterprise services, IT and program security statement of work. Effectively interact with members of the enterprise services, IT, and sector division and program leadership teams to optimize strategies in support of stated goals and objectives. Provide direction leadership over enterprise services and IT systems activities in support of customer's strategy development and budget and cost management.

He/she will oversee proposal development, staffing plan development, product and service acquisition and delivery, teaming relationships and communication activities, thereby ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction. Information services may include the design, development, and analysis encompassing one or more of the following areas of technical expertise: IT systems and strategies, estimating and proposals, requirements development, systems and application integration, program security execution and compliance and related disciplines.

Additional Duties Include:
  • Manage the operational aspects of ongoing Corporate Office customer projects, processes, and other initiatives and serves as liaison between program management, applications management, and multiple project teams or individual contributors.
  • Responsible for projects status, budgets to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Support the Corporate Office PMO and Customer Experience and Corporate Office PMO Program Director with operational decisions and will conduct briefings and meetings for internal and external representatives.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Finance or related field of study and 14+ years in IT project management or 12+ years with Masters.
  • Managed a portfolio of projects delegated by leadership including, the coordination of project staffing, budget, external/internal resources, and timelines, as well as the creation and implementation of project management standards
  • Interact with director or higher-level management and communicate effectively with both oral and written presentations.
  • The selected individual must have successfully led and implemented significant projects and/or programs.
  • Results-oriented team player, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities while maintaining a strong professional presence.
  • Lead and champion organizational change management
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to challenge the status quo while providing innovative solutions to complex IT requirements Program Management or lead role supporting customer facing information technology business.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Enterprise Services Program Manager experience.
  • Prior mid-level or advanced experience as an IT Leader.
  • Experience with Agile based practices and Lean Six Sigma methodology.
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts, process, and tools.
  • Self-starter who works quickly and effectively, can get up to speed with program processes quickly and enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Salary Range: $141,800 USD - $212,800 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
