Civil EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our land development team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in site plan and subdivision design using relevant software and Civil 3D technology. Responsibilities will include completing engineering, stormwater, drainage and utility calculations for constructions plans in accordance with applicable standards. You will also be tasked with completing design details and plan sets for commercial and residential projects, obtaining plan approval from required government agencies, managing various projects, conducting engineering feasibility studies, and communicating effectively with clients, review agencies, and internal staff.Top Skills & Qualifications

EIT Certification

Engineering site plan and subdivision design

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D technology

Engineering calculations for construction plans

Design details and plan sets

Obtaining plan approval from government agencies

Project management

Conducting engineering feasibility studies

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Work SiteThis is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Mechanicsville, Virginia and some days remote. This position requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM with a break for lunch. You will be working alongside a team of four CAD Technicians, split between engineering and surveying.
