Job Summary: As an Entry-Level Cable Technician, your work involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cable systems. You’ll handle various cable types, including Ethernet (Cat5, Cat6), coaxial, and fiber optic cables. This includes routing cables through walls, ceilings, and floors to connect devices seamlessly. Additionally, you’ll terminate cables by connecting them to jacks, outlets, and patch panels, while ensuring proper connectivity through cable testing. Setting up work area outlets (data ports, phone jacks) for end-users and adhering to safety protocols are essential aspects of your role.
