Experienced Dry Van Dispatcher (Full Time)

We are seeking an experienced full-time dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for booking, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and overseeing drivers and the load delivery process. Prior experience in dry van dispatching or a related industry is required.

Responsibilities:

Find loads and negotiate shipment prices.

Dispatch drivers in accordance with customer and load requirements.

Accurately enter load details and updates into the system.

Manage last-minute changes and communicate effectively with both customers and drivers.

Address and resolve any operational or logistical issues.

Monitor drivers’ ELDs to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Report driver performance issues or concerns to management.

Perform additional job-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 2 years of experience dispatching dry vans or working in a similar transportation role.

Good knowledge of DOT and transportation regulations.

Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with routing tools and map/navigation software.
