Summary:We are looking for a Front-End Developer with experience building complex, enterprise-grade web applications.You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Developer roles and responsibilities include managing application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Job at a glance:
  • 12-month contract with the potential for extension and permanent placement
  • $45-50/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
  • Mainly remote, only requiring one day per month on-site in Richmond, VA. Looking for VA residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop mission-critical user interfaces.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Investigate, debug, and fix software defects.
  • Work collaboratively with a team in an Agile environment.
  • Prepare technical standards, provide technical advice and guidance, and collaborate with other programmers to conceptualize and develop design.
  • Support continuous improvement by staying up to date on front-end technology.

Skills:
  • 4+ years of professional development experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience using React / Next.js
  • Knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiar with UI component libraries (Mui)
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, and clean JavaScript code
  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience using KAFKA
  • Knowledge of MongoDB
