Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Full Stack Developer. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for delivering development services to the Army located at Fort Eustis, VA. The Full Stack developer will be responsible for devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities in a cloud-based Agile/DevSecOps environment. The Full Stack Developer should have the following experience:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or other closely related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience OR AA Degree and 7+ years of experience
  • Documented skill with at least one high-level programming language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.)
  • Demonstrated skill with CSS, HTML, JavaScript
  • Experience using at least one web framework (React, Vue.js, angular, Django, etc.)
  • Experience with version control tools.
  • Experience with Linux systems and bash scripting
  • Experience writing server-side APIs and using client-side APIs
  • Experience using containerization such as Docker
  • Familiarity with virtualization
  • Documented proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Documented proficiency with AWS, in particular products related to: compute, database, and DevSecOps tools
  • Experience with database solutions including SQL, NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with several ongoing concurrent projects; able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; good Interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of leadership
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques; desire to maintain currency on latest industry trends including completing additional training; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge; able to analyze problems and strategize solutions
Desired experience includes the following:
  • Experience with cybersecurity efforts and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Software Development and/or Cloud Certification(s)
  • Experience with cloud migrations including inventory, assessment, and migration planning efforts
  • Experience with Azure and AWS cloud solutions and environments
  • Experience with enterprise-level data analysis, machine-learning, operations research, modeling, and business/mission intelligence tools. Developing, implementing, integrating, and evaluating data architecture-related projects
Security Clearance & Certification Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE; this will be verified prior to interview. Therefore, s can be considered for this position.
  • Must have IAT III certification: CASP+ CE, or CCNP Security, or CISA, or CISSP (or Associate), or GCED IH
