Client is looking for a GIS Analyst 2 REMOTE (Min 3 yrs exp) (Local Candidates highly preferred) (Webcam interviews ONLY) POSITION DESCRIPTION DIRECT CLIENT Position Number of positions: 1 Length: 5-17 Months + Work Address: REMOTE / Richmond, VA Immediate interviews Webcam interviews ONLY Please note that this position is 100% REMOTE. However, candidate must go to Richmond, VA on 1st day to pick up equipment and complete onboarding. REMOTE Supports Geospatial initiatives, systems and data processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, integrity, security and efficiency as it pertains to elections. Support Redistricting; Geographic Information System maps required and review as needed. Create a GIS maps on a localities behalf when needed. Spatial Audits - Review any ordinance and GIS map received and compare the boundaries contained within with the information in the voter registration system to ensure voters have been assigned to the correct districts and to notify localities of any corrections that may be necessary. Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position. "Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
