AECOM is looking to hire an E-Invoicing Project Lead to spearhead our global e-invoicing and e-reporting implementation initiatives. As e-invoicing and e-reporting models continue to proliferate worldwide, this is an exceptional opportunity to lead business-critical tax compliance projects across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have extensive indirect tax expertise with a focus on e-invoicing technologies, processes, and regulatory frameworks. You will serve as the bridge between tax technical requirements and technology implementation, ensuring seamless compliance with rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes. This role requires a blend of tax expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities to ensure the organization transitions smoothly to electronic invoicing. The Project Lead will work closely with various departments, including IT, S2P, O2C and finance to optimize processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reconciliations to Tax Returns.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Oversee the implementation of the e-invoicing system and process from inception to completion. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including O2C, S2P, IT, and finance, to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Facilitate communication and collaboration between all parties involved.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on e-invoicing and e-reporting. Ensure the system is integrated seamlessly with existing ERP and accounting systems. Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.Process Optimization: Collaborate with finance to analyze current invoicing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure the e-invoicing system complies with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with other Tax team members to ensure e-invoicing ties back to VAT Compliance.Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the implementation process and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a risk register and update it regularly.
