DescriptionJob summaryDo you want to join a team that is mission driven, works hard, and has fun while making a positive impact for healthcare?Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Operations and Engagement Lead to provide business support, ensure internal efficiency, manage successful implementations of global healthcare initiatives, and establish effective engagement between the Healthcare Industry team, field teams and strategic customers.In this role, you will be part of the AWS WWPS Healthcare Industry team that serves field teams and customers across the Public Sector organization. You will work cross-functionally with other AWS teams to support and accelerate growth of the Healthcare business.As the BD Operations and Engagement Lead, you must be passionate about working in a growing fast-paced global business, a self-starter who enjoys shaping their own role, and, ultimately, building a team. The ideal candidate is experienced in driving broad scale, programmatic efforts that impact results. The ability to think strategically, act tactically, write effectively, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills is essential. The candidate must also be able to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves,” think and move fast, dive deep, and get things done.Key job responsibilities Working across AWS, at all levels of the organization, to identify and build initiatives and programs that will be valuable to our healthcare customers and partners. Participating in healthcare segment team meetings and providing monthly analytics and reporting to identify key issues, trends and best practices. Developing metrics to measure and track business results. Leading our WWPS healthcare worldwide reporting cadence and contributing to monthly reporting across strategic, commercial and services teams Leading our semi-annual business planning process and managing our rhythm of the business. Creating business development and implementation strategies and sales enablement plans. Leading team members and internal stakeholders to achieve our healthcare business goals. Defining integrated solutions, Think Big ideas, and sales/marketing campaigns to capture healthcare market opportunity. Managing projects and programs in a highly matrixed, global organization. Expanding our AWS healthcare knowledge base via documented learning and best practices. Building and delivering learning content for team members in the healthcare sales, solution architecture, and business development organizations. Managing short-term tactical goals vs long-term strategies, and implement cross-WWPS strategic healthcare initiatives. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of Business Operations / Program Management Experience 10+ years of experience analyzing and managing complex programs / business 5+ years supporting sales and/or business development organizations, developing content, and managing performance 5+years working with global stakeholders, in a matrix organizational settingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge and working experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry MBA with focus in Business or Master’s in a Business related or Health field PMP certification Self-motivated, action-oriented, multi-tasking individual with strong attention to detail Ability to manage ambiguous situations and processes complex information from a variety of sources Proven analytical skills with the ability to dive deep while also seeing the big picture Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization that is scaling Demonstrated proficiency in the integration of data from different platforms to support analysis, planning and decision making Familiarity with CRM systems (eg Salesforce) and data reporting platforms (eg Tableau) Proven experience launching successful, external initiatives that generate results and revenue Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communications skills Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.
