Herbicide Applicator Technician

Herbicide Technicians are responsible for vegetation management services including spraying, cutting, trimming, and removal of weeds, grass, and brush for a variety of public and private clients. Work is performed using equipment such as spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, and hose systems.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and document all required DOT vehicle inspections; identify and troubleshoot issues with trucks and spray systems, reporting any needed repairsMaintain all vehicles and equipment in a clean, organized, and operational conditionOperate and calibrate spray equipment in accordance with company standards (training provided)Identify common weed, grass, and brush species (training provided)Apply herbicides safely and effectively while following all label requirements and safety protocolsDevelop a working knowledge of herbicides, application methods, and target vegetation to meet client expectationsAdhere to all safety guidelines, environmental regulations, and company procedures
