HOUSEKEEPER WANTED FOR BED & BREAKFAST

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS

Hours: 20–40 hours per week

Schedule: 3–5 days per week, typically 9:00 AM to around 3:00 PM (until cleaning is complete)

Compensation: $17/hour + tips

Days Off: Usually two weekdays off each week

Language Requirements: Spanish-speaking is welcome, but fluent English (spoken and written) is required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and common areas according to established standards. Responsibilities include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, emptying trash, and more. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in making spaces sparkle!

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare guest rooms daily for check-ins.

Sanitize in-room amenities, including coffee makers, cups, glasses, and silverware.

Clean and maintain common areas, including dining rooms, bar areas, and restrooms.

Handle and log lost and found items per company procedures.

Perform laundry duties, including ironing.

Maintain a clean, organized housekeeping area and properly care for all equipment.

Restock workstations and supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least 1 year of professional housekeeping experience required.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Basic housekeeping knowledge required.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy, courtesy, and teamwork.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Must follow safety regulations (OSHA) to ensure a safe working environment.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift (up to 8 hours).

Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently.

Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and stretching.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

Must be organized and able to set up and maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation.

Must report maintenance issues, linen shortages, equipment problems, and safety concerns immediately to a supervisor.
