Job Summary:

• A client of ours in Virginia Beach VA is looking for a Informatica Developer for a Contract opportunity.

• Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter 8.6 or above
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, DB2) and PL/SQL
• Data Warehousing Fundamentals
• Strong Shell Scripting experience in Unix Environment.
• Strong Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform & Load process using Informatica Power Center.
• Experience in Error Handling, Scheduling, Identifying ETL Job Dependency and Recovery mechanisms.
• Understanding configuration, migration and deployment of ETL mappings.
• Data Quality experience and solid Data Governance framework experience
• Strong consulting skills to collect business requirements and transform them in roadmaps and action plan
• Strong analytical orientation
• ETL/DWH/Data Quality concepts
• Ability to understand complex data models and relationships data lineage and transformations through multiple systems
• Knowledge as an Data Steward or Quality Analyst on data quality tools Informatica
• Design and implement end to end Data Quality strategy including a sustainable Data Quality improvement lifecycle
• Able to mentor juniors and train end users
• Analyze and discover data patterns and opportunities to increase the value of data by profiling data and identify data quality business rule opportunities to clean standardize and enrich data
• Provide data quality requirements and business rules to be implemented by data quality engineer by translating business problems into actionable data quality initiatives
• Develop and support data quality monitoring framework developing data quality reporting from strategy to operation KPIs
• Work with multiple stakeholders from data stewards business process owners data sciences IT delivery team data architects to assure high level of quality of data
• Standardize data quality metrics and create data quality policies
• Experience in healthcare domain, Anthem experience is preferred.

• Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
• Analyses highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex requirements
• Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code.
• Acts as an expert technical resource for modelling, simulation and analysis efforts.
• Loading data from various data sources and legacy systems using informatica
• Creating new mappings, workflows and sessions
• Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision, must be a self-starter and lead aspects of project work as needed
• Candidate must interact with stakeholders, users for requirement clarification, design and development of ETL Process.

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 10+ years of Informatica Developer Experience.
