At GDIT you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction● Work with GDIT and NIWC government personnel to ensure IA postures are maintained in accordance with all established requirements● Provide IA expertise and advise to ensure all systems and personnel are awared and compliant with requirements at all time. Provide assistance as necessary to resolve issues or questions pertaining to IA.● Work with NETWORK Engineers to implement and maintain compliance at the highest standards and readiness possible at all times.● Perform equipment and system security scanning and Security Technical Implementation guides (STIGs) ensuring optimal compliance.● Utilize training and skills to to establish and maintain the highest levels of IA compliance.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree in Information Assurance.● Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience.● Required Technical Skills: Perform System/equipment IA scans, STIG's and weekly VRAM updates.● Security Clearance Level: SECRET● Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to learn equipment and systems to understand how to properly perform IA scans and STIGs.● Preferred Skills: Information Assurance● Location: Customer Site● US Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysCOVID-19 Vaccination: GDIT does not have a vaccination mandate applicable to all employees.
