What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is currently looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team that will innovate the future of the Intelligence Community's (IC) enterprise Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) services and solutions. The FORT INDEPENDENCE program is the IC's Information Technology Enterprise (IC-ITE) Service of Common Concern, as well as the Sponsor's Enterprise Access Control provider. The FORT INDEPENDENCE contract team will provide leadership in architecture, engineering, and delivery of ICAM services for the Sponsor, and for other IC partners.

As a Systems Engineer, you will work with developers, and architects to help perform upgrades and troubleshooting. You will have the opportunity to develop new digital policies and integrate them into an enterprise service. You will participate in deployment and administration of COTS tools and creating automated unit and integration testing capabilities. You will be part of the team to develop custom user interfaces and respective rest services to management digital policies, assist in installation, deployment, and maintenance of the COTS products.

More About the Role:

As the Infrastructure Services Team Lead, you will serve as the primary contact for the Sponsor overseeing all Infrastructure Services activities on the FORT INDEPENDENCE contract. You will be responsible for managing approximately 50 employees supporting the API Gateway, Data Dictionary, IC SCIF, Registration, and other critical Security lines of business. To accomplish this, you will lead a team of business analysts, software developers, product engineers, cyber security engineers, test engineers, etc. to ensure the operational health of all Infrastructure Services, which may include some subcontractor management.

You will also be a part of the FORT INDEPENDENCE leadership team, with the expectation that you will work collaboratively with your peer Segment Leads to resolve issues at the lowest level possible.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Systems Engineer providing requirements and system interface analysis for enterprise scale development project
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining interface control documents between components in an enterprise operational system
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with development team and stakeholders on intent of the requirements and user stories
  • Demonstrated experience translating user requirements into agile sprint stories and defining acceptance criteria that is achievable in a single development sprint
  • Demonstrated experience with agile project management methodologies, including experience managing product backlogs
  • Demonstrated experience with the security accreditation process to achieve system approval to operate
  • Demonstrated experience assessing loads and developing tuning recommendations as related to performance, scalability, and high availability.
  • Demonstrated experience administering a medium to large sized virtualized infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to include document preparation and configuration management.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements management on a program interacting with and supporting multiple Sponsor partners and/or customers
  • Demonstrated experience as a scrum master on a project that includes web application and enterprise middleware development
  • Demonstrated experience with the XACTA security accreditation tool
  • Demonstrated experience working in a self-directed manner as part of a medium size agile software development team
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and working with others to achieve system security accreditation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure environment providing network systems support in the development, testing, deployment and operation of enterprise class systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with understanding of current and futures technology trends.
  • Demonstrated experience with Devops (i.e., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification
