The Intake Support Specialist provides clerical and administrative support duties to support efficient operations within the Sleep Clinic.
Schedules patient appointments and maintains daily records.
Verifies insurance benefits and obtains prior authorizations as needed. Maintains knowledge of updates and changes in billing and insurance requirements.
Answers telephone promptly and courteously, takes accurate and complete messages, forwards or answers inquiries as appropriate. Demonstrates accuracy in preparing correspondence, reports and messages.
