Basic Purpose This role is responsible for research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the system requirements of a solution, including the allocation of functionality across the presentation layer and backend services• Recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness• Successfully complete and manage caseloads, tickets, and daily task • Utilize system documentation, database information, application logs and scenario testing to determine root cause of system issues• Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices • Ensure duties and task are completed in a timely manner with little to no errors• Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.) • Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material • Assist the business in determining if and how new systems or system enhancements may improve process flow and business function• Serve as a subject matter expert, guide and mentor less experienced staff• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Microsoft Exchange/O365 Administration and Migration• Experience in IM solutions (Microsoft Teams)• Advanced knowledge and hands on experience in email compliance/journaling/archiving (Feith)• Advanced knowledge and hands on experience in Messaging Systems (Microsoft exchange, CES, Lotus Notes/Domino Servers, InTune, MobileIron and LDAP• Fundamental understanding of network and internet concepts (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, web browsers, TCP/IP,SSL,HTTP,, etc.)• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell• Working knowledge of ADFS, SAML, AD trust, AD permissions and AD delegation• Proficiency in performance monitoring and mail flow troubleshooting• Log analysis and error resolution• Proven ability to read and interpret related system logs, statistics, and database queries• Advanced skill set in troubleshooting and resolving issues • Familiarity with large-scale Information Technology (IT) organization • Development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), etc • Experience in project leadership and execution, including initiatives with technology, processes, cross-functional teams and external partner team members • Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely• Effective skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives • Effective exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills • Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Strong team building and collaboration skills

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employee's leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and on boarding process.

Salary Range: $104,500 - $146,300 annually

Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
