Description JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC has an immediate opening for an IT Service Management (ITSM) Service Portfolio Management (SPfM) with a background in Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to oversee the cost, schedule, and performance activities of a Multi-sourcing Service Integrator (MSI). The successful applicant will participate within a team of portfolio managers to oversee the design, delivery, and enhancement of a globally integrated IT service delivery construct. Candidates will oversee the MSI's product quality, identify service deficiencies, and mature delivery processes. While current operational emphasis is on ITIL v3, the successful candidate will help chart the customer's organizational conversion to an ITIL 4 structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidate must be able to:
  • Demonstrate a strong working understanding of the ITIL Framework
  • Strategically assess the customer's vision and needs to seek opportunities to influence and improve service delivery quality
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of best practices in service management, including contract and vendor management in an outsourcing or shared service environment
  • Successfully work independently as well as within a team
  • Work multiple concurrent efforts with shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills to facilitate clear and concise delivery statuses on multiple, concurrent activities
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage projects using project management methodologies, interpret complex information and provide informed analyses to recommending suitable technical solutions
  • Proactively perform as a change agent focused on translating customer requirements into service provider tasking
  • Perform technical assessments of a service provider's proposed solutions to ensure they fulfill the customer's requirements
  • Track, document, and communicate observations associated with the service provider's solution implementation from a cost, schedule, and performance oversight perspective
  • Evaluate and recommend designs (solutions architecture), acquisition plans, service level terms, and perform service strategy analysis
  • Coordinate activities with IT portfolio managers, policy leads, resource managers, and program managers
  • Ensure meeting coordination, scope clarity, policy compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Capture, document, and present analysis process, findings, and project statuses to decision makers
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:
  • Within a STEM field of study: Bachelors in a STEM related field and five (5) years or more experience; Masters in a STEM related field and three (3) years or more experience; Significant applicable work experience of more than ten (10) years may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with Poly
  • Must be able to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • ITIL v3, or 4 related certifications are a plus, but not required
  • Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) is a plus, but not required
  • Scaled Agile Framework for enterprise (SAFe) is a plus, but not required
